SUNSETS AND THOUGHTS | YYTERI, PORI, FINLAND

Screw the schedules. Screw the consistency, eh?
We have been spending a weekend at my mum's in the Western-Finland and it has been exactly what I've needed after these past few months. The thing is, even though I don't consider my current lifestyle exhausting - it is still taking its toll on me. As I am the kind of a person who enjoys being put, enjoys being in a moment and enjoys the days when the calendar looks empty.

And as we're at my mum's, it means that we have been treated with some "toddler-free time" as well. Yesterday, we visited at Yyteri beach and Kallo after spending a day climbing at an adventure park Huikee. About that climbing though... This morning I've found some muscles I didn't even know existed!

It was such a lovely day spent with my best friend and my husband. I could do with these kinds of adventures more.

I also got to practise my photography with the most gorgeous sunset. Which brings me to the next thing I wanted to talk about. Screw the schedules. Screw the last post about the blogging goals I wrote. This month I'm going to try out something new. I'm going to skip the pressure I've created myself and spend the month writing here whenever I feel like it. So here we go, this was the first one.

I've missed the authenticity in my writings. And being in a moment. If it turns out to be shit, I'll create something new then.

As so far, I've got a good feeling about this.

    1. It's the place I spent the most of my childhood in, one of the ones I always enjoy returning to when I need a wind off.

  6. I love your relaxed and chilled attitude to blogging, it is really refreshing to read. I also love days where the calendar looks empty, it's awesome having time and space to just do what you want to do, not what you have to do. Your photos are fantastic and the beach looks gorgeous. Glad you had a wonderful time, thanks for sharing Jasmin! <3 xx

  12. Very lovely photos and it’s nice to get some free time with your husband. That’s super important. I have felt this way about strictly following a schedule in the past and the best thing is to just relax and go with the flow. If there’s no post on the blog then you can make up by engaging with your followers on Instagram.
