PRACTISING MY PHOTOGRAPHY

My little Autumn vacay is coming to its end today and even though it didn't last longer than a couple of days, I'm ready to go back to work already. Ask me again in six weeks how am I feeling about this okay? The next six weeks will be crazy busy with work, with uni (we started our first customer project last week, eek!) and life in general driving around Finland again in different family parties.
It's going to be a hell of six weeks, but it'll end in such a lovely way as I'm off to Scotland for a few days. So that's what will keep me going until then, right? And coffee. Lots of coffee. And lots of toddler cuddles, eh?

However, I feel like throwing it back to last Sunday today as I had a chance to practise my pet photography skills (which I believe I still need a bit more practice with) with Steffe. He is my godson, god dog? Oh, a hot dog! Right. And I got to take pictures of him and his owner, which was nice.

What brought some extra challenge for my task, was that he doesn't like cameras and doesn't enjoy being photographed. Poor little bubba, so we tried to keep it as fast as possible and distract him with a bunch of things he loves. I believe he won't hate us all now though.

D the little Dinosaur got to practice his behaviour around dogs as well. And Steffe got to practice his behaviour around small children, so that was definitely a win-win situation for all of us.

In other good news, my Polaroid camera arrived yesterday! When I'll get to drag my ass to the store so I can buy some film in it and test drive it, would that be something you'd be interested in reading about?

  6. LOL'd at "Oh, a hot dog!" What a cutie. Autumn leaves always make the prettiest backdrop for busting out the camera and taking some shots of people and pets. You're an amazing photographer, Jasmin!
