AUGUST VIA INSTAGRAM

It's that time of the month again! What do I mean? The Instagram round-up of course.
I cannot believe it's officially the knit season, also known as Autumn. Where did the summer go? Either way, let's look back to our August via my Instagram feed. August was one of the months I grew my account the most (at its highest it was in 1999) and it was at its lowest by the end of the month (1888). So yeah, follow unfollow game going on much?

Don't know what's with the sudden decrease in my following, though I'll get back to you with all that as I've been following my Instagram & Twitter growth for a year soon and I'm ready to write a full on report on comparing the two later this month. I don't think it's the pictures or a quality of them. Though, I also don't believe it's completely on the follow/unfollow game. To be fair, after the uni began I haven't been able to engage on both as much as I've used to. That must be a part of it too. Instagram is a tricky one.

What comes to the round-up, we visited in Porvoo earlier this summer and I shared a bunch of pictures from there. I absolutely fell in love with the old town of Porvoo and to be honest, I think I'm going to have to make another visit one day soon and go through all the tiny boutiques there was. I think I'm going to have to win in a lottery first as I'd probably want to buy everything. It's filled with tiny shops and ah, home decor shops! I'd be broke if I lived there.

Remember when I shared the blog post about 10 different ways to feel closer to nature? It was in collaboration with Savonlinna International Film Festival and we went and took the pictures for it in Nuuksio National Park in Espoo. It was so much fun and hubby and I got some alone time as well for the day in nature. How refreshing a little 5km walk like that can be?

By the end of the month, my feed started making its transition into more Autumnal pictures.

Do you let the seasons to show up on your feed or is it a no-no for you?

  1. I hate this follow/unfollow trick... it's horrible, why do people do this? They won't get actual followers from this!

  2. I like to have distinctive vibes for the feed like I wouldn't show summer photos when we're in the middle of winter season on my personal account but my @sheiconic insta which promotes body positivity by celebrating ALL stylish women, that account I post based on color. Nice content as always Jasmin! TTYS <3
