3 THINGS I’VE LEARNED AFTER ONE MONTH IN UNI

What's up guys and gals!? It's official now, I've been a uni student for a full month now. And oh boy, it's been a journey. Either way, you know how I like to turn some of the experiences in my life to positive learning experiences (like I did with my entrance exam and stress back in June), this one will be one of those too. So here's to one month in uni and 47 more. Or well, 43 if you don't count summer vacation.

We're doing a shitload of group projects and group presentations
The amount of group tasks we've been doing is insane. Especially in our group, the ones who are studying digital communications. It's been something I've needed to learn again, as well - I'm used doing stuff all by myself and I'm used surviving by myself. So trusting in a bunch of random people in something that'll affect on such an important thing as a grade from a course, it felt a bit odd to me, personally. Though now I'm more used to it and our class is full of a bunch of amazing people in it.

Making new friends isn't as hard as I thought
Like I said, our class is full of a bunch of amazing people in it. It's been so much fun on getting to know new people. Even though I'm a bit awkward when it comes to such things. I noticed that we're all awkward and we're all in the same situation - none of us knew each other beforehand. So we started on the same line.

There will be a shitload of parties
A shitload of parties I've already missed and a shitload of parties I'll probably miss in the future. I'm not much of a party gal, though - I've attended to a few and it's been a blast. But as a mum of a toddler, I don't have time (or energy) to party every other day. Or money. So I'm happy with once in two or three months haha!

  1. I never liked group projects because I was always the one who did most of the work or if I didn't then the grade would suck... That has left a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to group projects but hopefully I'll have better luck with them when I go to university!
