Well hello there, August! Today is the day for many things. Today is the day when I kick off the end of my maternity leave by having two days off from work (which is pretty much my only "alone" vacation I'll have this year) and I'm back at work on Friday. Today is also the first day of the very month, that I'll turn a new page on my life. I'm going to be a student. So while I'm being a mum, a student and working for part-time - you can imagine blogging is something that might have to step aside for a while. Oh well, it won't be as high on my priorities for a while.

I still decided that I'm going to write myself some goals to follow as guidelines. You know, if I happen to have time for blogging! Though, don't worry - you won't notice it until in January as I've been super productive these final months of my maternity leave.

I've been really loving my own content, (can I say that? Hell yes I can!), lately, and I'm so relieved to be feeling like that way. Although, there are times when I feel like everything is shit and I want to quit and then start all over again, delete everything and then start all over again but for now I've found my very own little zen state which I am truly enjoying.
I think it's because of all the travel-related content, as I really do love travelling. My goal is to see a new place in Finland this month and write about that!

I'm still doing the same thing I did in July, I keep posting random pictures from my Instagram as my blog post pictures. I should really up my blogging photography game but as life seems to go a bit hectic in a few weeks, I'll keep doing this. It's been working well, or so I've heard!

What are your goals for the month?

  1. Your Instagram photos are so good that I don't see any problem with using them as photos for your blog posts!! Why do double the work when you already have a beautiful product you can use in both places. Keep up the great work in August, girl! Your blog is going places!!! <3

  2. As your mat leave ends, mine starts! But I’ll defo need some goal setting towards the end!

  3. Some great goals here, I definitely need to start doing these more too! I bet it really helps to motivate you :)

  4. So good to set yourself goals and targets. Helps keep you motivated and inspired.

  5. Goals are good and I believe 100% that you'll reach them - remember to have a good time while working for them! It's all about the journey :-)

  6. Wow, sounds like you're going to be busy! Good luck with it all, you'll be amazing. I love your goals for the month - travelling and visiting new places is the best. Also your photos are beautiful so no need to worry about those!
