REINDEER POSTCARDS FROM THE FINNISH LAPLAND

I've visited in Lapland only once in my life. It's funny though, would think we had travelled there with the family during the Winter like the most of Finnish families do but not until I met J and visited his grandparents for the first time. I was promised snowy trees, Northern Lights and reindeers.
I didn't see Northern Lights, as it was too warm.
I didn't see reindeers anywhere, as they were locked up in their fencing.
Snowy trees, those there were plenty.

As you can see from the pictures, I finally saw reindeers close and in real life! We have those only in Lapland and in the other parts of the country, there are only deers. It was absolutely amazing. Most of the people would lose their temper because they're filling the roads (that's why if you're ever going to Lapland, you need to drive carefully!) but I was like a 5-year-old on the candy aisle.

Have you seen reindeers?
