DINO’S ROOM | BEFORE & AFTER

D's room was something that changed the most. It was actually fun to do, as I love to get creative and I had pretty free hands doing there whatever I wanted to...

So before, there was this closet that did have frames but there weren't any shelves inside of it. We ditched it. At first, we were looking through the Internet if there was a simple solution to fill the closets (in D's room and our bedroom) with shelves and stuff but it was surprisingly hard as we didn't know the model of them. So we ended up buying two closets from Jysk & our old closet frames left with J's father to somewhere in his projects.
Also, there was that floor again.

I did it. I painted the mountain wall I've always wanted. The lines aren't straight, but I didn't intend them to be super straight, I mean - in what world mountains are fully geometric? Though I placed the tapes free-handed so if I would have had some sort of ruler or something, the lines would have been a bit straighter. Though, Mount Everest isn't perfectly triangle shaped either. Anyhow, I love how it turned out. Absolutely love - it's gorgeous, even I'm saying it myself. I'm super proud of it and painting two layers with both colours took me four hours, which is pretty well.
We also changed the floorboards and as I mentioned before, D's closet has changed as well.

D's furniture fit super well in. I'm still thinking how to put things in, as they still are like they were after we brought all our things in but I think the room turned out just well.
We're still waiting for D's new carpet to arrive & we're planning to put a few shelves on the walls as well. Also, if you're wondering where all his toys are - they are in his play corner in the living room.

What do you think?
