Hi there lovelies!

I've been thinking about the content that I'm sharing over here on a daily basis, well -
obviously duh, that's something that goes around your mind daily when being a daily
Blogging daily is such a hard work and committing to your blog 100%, otherwise, it
wouldn't be working and you'd lose interest in your work in a blink of an eye.

For me, as a daily blogger, as I've been calling myself for these past six months, the
content I'm sharing is n:o 1 priority. Every single month, I keep it in my blogging goals.
Why? Because if your content is shit, people who read it doesn't read it anymore and
you end up feeling like shit.

Okay, this might be a little obsession for me. I'm constantly looking for new
ideas for a blog post. I mean, creating a daily content kind of makes it the
necessary thing to do.
Sometimes I do wonder, what my blog would be like and would I enjoy it as
much as I do if I wasn't a daily blogger? I don't think about it that much anymore.
I'm always on a search for the inspiration and new ideas. When they hit me,
I start to write them down. Sometimes I even write down a whole post before
putting it to Blogger to be finished.
Letting the inspiration flow, every time I get one.

I've got so many posts in draft. I've got an excel for all of my posts. I've planned
every single post and their publish date. If I don't feel like publishing the post for
the date I've scheduled it, I won't. That means that there's still something I don't
feel like sharing or something that gives me a kick to hit the publish button haven't
arrived yet. I don't want to share content I'm not absolutely sure about sharing.
Then I share something else.

I've got a hate-love relationship with shooting pictures for my blog posts. I mean,
we're living in a season when the daylight is quickly starting to disappear after
12PM and then everything you try to shoot just ends up being so dark and grey and
so effin' hard to edit to be lighter.
I want to keep my blog pictures light and I don't know what I want to do with them.
It can be seen in plenty of my blog posts and I have to do something about it. Here
I am, repeating myself once again but I'm honestly not happy with the way I'm
shooting the pictures at the moment. Sometimes, I can draw a post back just because
my inner perfectionist is not happy and I'm going to shoot pictures for it again.
Pictures really do make a blog post, they're the first impression and maybe something
those possible readers might comment about in a good way or another, so I want to keep
them clean and visually appealing - at least to me.

My way of writing is something I've heard about quite often as a positive aspect of
my blogging. I really don't see how it differs from another blog posts at the blogosphere
but I guess everyone has their own unique way of writing. When I'm staying true to myself
and writing the way I do, I think that's something that makes a blog content interesting in
a long haul.
Even though the post would be about kittens or just a basic lipstick, it's the way of writing
that makes it interesting. I don't know how I'm doing it, but I seem to do it.

Every time I refer myself as a daily blogger, I get comments saying that "It's great how
you're managing to blog daily, work full-time and still keep your content interesting".
I've been wondering the exact same thing. Even though I've never thought that someone
would be interested to really read what I'm writing, it still crosses my mind some way.
How do I keep my content interesting?
I honestly don't know, but you guys seem to enjoy about these little daily posts so I'm
going to keep doing them the way I do.

How do you keep your content interesting?

  1. I love your blog and really admire you for writing a great blog everyday. Photoshoots on weekend mornings? xx K

    1. Hahah I wish I wasn't working at the weekend mornings :D otherwise, why not :D

  2. I really needed to read this right now. I feel like I've been in a blogging slump as of late, especially with my blogging camera being broken. Thanks for the motivation! You're an inspiration!

    1. Glad to hear that I inspired you :-)!

  3. These are some of the really great tips! Thanks for sharing. As for the lighting, I recommend you to order some lightboxex from amazon, they're normally super affordable and you won't regret for sure! Keep it up!

    Cheers, Eliza |

    1. Sadly, most of the products don't ship to Finland when ordering from Amazon but I've got my eye on a pretty good light at the local store. :-) I just need to get myself up & buy it lol :D

  4. I love the way you create posts. Its so personal and it always inspires me!

  6. great post, i couldn't see myself being a daily blogger i think i'd run out of ideas pretty quickly so bravo to you, i think i keep my content interesting by not sticking to one thing and trying to branch out into different genres :)

    1. Hahah, that awful moment when you run out of ideas tbh :D

  7. Lovely post! I always struggle in my thoughts if my content is becoming boring or if the visitors just look at the photos. I feel better knowing that I am not the only.

  8. Thats awesome that you blog daily! I do not have that kind of commitment! I find it hard to get photos too now that the days are shorter! I try and take as many as I can early on and save them for later!

    1. Shorter days are so awful! Especially when working full time too :D

  9. Lovely post xx it's great how you daily blog! I definitely don't have the time to daily blog x
