WHAT’S IN MY BAG? | NORWAY EDITION

Going to North is one of those trips where you need all four seasons of clothing with you as you can't really know how the Spring behaves. I did try to follow long-term forecasts about the weather in early May in Tromsø and at the moment when I'm writing this post, it's been looking okay for us.
By the time this post will be published, we've already been there. But what did I have with me?

HYGIENIC STUFF & OTHER ESSENTIALS
I've got my makeup bag, with all the day to day products I'm using. I don't feel like bringing the whole arsenal with me (what arsenal? this is basically all I have.)
I'm also bringing my personal hygienic things, menstrual pads in case my period will begin and some moisturisers.

SHOES
I'm bringing my Converse sneakers and my winter shoes from H&M. Both of them are super comfortable in use and as we haven't planned to do any hiking to anywhere - these two will work out just fine. I don't want to take anything too Summer-ish with me, so I'm going to take these as I'm wearing them through the Autumn to Spring. Yeap, I walk in Converse with all that snow during the Winter.

LONG-SLEEVES & WARM JUMPERS
1x long sleeved shirt
1x jumper
1x hoodie
2x lighter jackets
I'm more like a comfort over fashion person, so I'm making sure I'm bringing all the warm and comfy stuff with me up there. Yeah, it's Spring in Tromsø but I doubt that it'll be as warm as it is in Helsinki at the moment so I want to play it safe. It's better to be a bit warm instead of freezing.

JEANS AND TROUSERS
Jeans & comfy pants, yes please.

SHIRTS AND TOPS
1x top
3x t-shirts
What else does one need?

+ some socks & underwear, they're so old and worn out that they sure as hell aren't making it to the blog haha.
+ winter jacket, spring jacket, scarf, beanie & mittens.

Have you been to North-Norway? How did you pack?

  2. Wish I was packing right now for an exciting trip! Anyway, I think everything is essential for a trip like this. I love having 1-2 scarves with me in case the weather gets colder.

    1. Yes, scarves are definitely the essential to have with you! And especially if you're traveling by plane, as it tends to get a bit cold in planes haha.

  4. I've never been in North-Norway, but surely you bring the idea on what to pack for a trip there. I agree with you for the comfort more over fashion, especially if the trip involves hiking and exploring nature.
