POSTCARDS FROM HELSINKI, FINLAND

So, if you're wondering what the hell was that radio silence that has been over at the blog for the start of the week I have no explanation for that. Nor that I even need one. I just didn't feel like posting and I kind of wanted to have a tiny Spring break. And especially now when I'm not writing my content that far forwards, I didn't even manage to come up with any post ideas for Monday and Wednesday.

If you've been following me on Instagram or Twitter, you know that I got the world's greatest wife award (REALLY? Well, not.) and I took J to Clarion Hotel Helsinki last weekend. I booked a Junior Suite for us, of which I'm going to tell you a bit later, mainly because of my selfish need to have a proper bath but J's birthday kind of allowed me to splurge a little (296€).
We pretended to be tourists in the city we live in! It was such an eye-opening experience.

Have you ever pretended to be a tourist in your own city? How was it? If not, would you like to?

  5. I love pretending to be a tourist in my own city! P.S. I lovelovelove the photo of the car and the one looking up at the building! They would be so lovely in a really large frame.

  7. Staycations are awesome! I think I get so busy that I don't take time to discover what's around me. Sometimes you have to be intentional...and it pays off. Great images, by the way!
