MY SPRING WISH LIST | HOME

It has been ages since I've done a proper wish list over here at the blog and I decided to give it a go in a 38°C degree fever. So, some of you might know how expensive my taste is (it's naturally that way) but if you're new here - just so you know.

BALCONY
It's actually quite funny how I'm starting this blog post from our most unfinished "room" we have in this apartment. Somehow it always ends up being the balcony that's the most unfinished? The first priority on my balcony wish list is to have glass windows in it. It doesn't have any and I've seen how much snow there ends up being during the Winter so I'm pretty afraid how much shit there will be during the Summer and Autumn. Argh, and all that water when it rains in Spring. We sure as hell need it to be glassed. Though, it'll cost us around 1400€, so we have still some saving to do but the good news is; it'll raise the value of this apartment so when we'll sell this one, it's winning situation for us. But what would I like to have in there?

SO! What do we have here? Let's begin from the left top corner:

I also remember saying something about my extremely expensive taste on different things, especially when it comes home decor things (I've got a freaking 200€ carpet in my living room and I have a child) and yet this is pretty much the lowest I was possibly able to go while searching "cheaper" options for the ones that were on my wishlist, to begin with.

I absolutely love all those white/black & greyish tones which I think you've seen beforehand on my previous Home-related blog posts. I also love to throw in some colour in mild tones, can't stand yellow or red but light blue can do as you can see from the cushions, carpet and blankets. Also, that plant holder that doesn't quite fit into the colour scheme? I'm planning to paint that if I ever manage to buy it. The pots can stay as they are but the ladder would fit in better if it was black or grey, in my opinion.

KITCHEN & DINING ROOM
From the balcony, I'm going to move on to our next unfinished room which is our little kitchen. We have a shitload of things to do there in general (which you'll see at the end of this month as I decided to share some before and after renovation pictures of it even though it's not quite finished yet). It's one of the rooms in this apartment that has gone through the biggest change in our ownership and I'm very happy how it looks now & how it'll look after we're finished.

The wish list for our kitchen is a bit smaller. Why? Because we don't really need anything in there. We have a working coffee maker - yet I would like to have a new one and besides, our coffee maker is almost a 6-year-old already, it's going to go to school next year.
We have a working toaster - yet this pastel blue Smeg one would go along nicely with our pastel blue Smeg fridge. (& I DIDN'T FIND IT UNDERNEATH THE CHRISTMAS TREE, FFS.)
Although, we need new chairs around our kitchen table (our table is exactly like in the pictures and I think the ones I put on the wish list would look amazing with it, yet these ones take a hell lot of a space & aren't convenient in an apartment where lives a small human being.)

OH WELL, GUYS, that was pretty much about it. Do we have anything alike on our wishlists?

  10. Lovely wishlist, Jasmin. Those idea collages are super cute! Btw I've been laughing to that coffee maker in Gigantti and trying to wonder how on earth you're supposed to clean it. Probably there is a way haha. :)
