OUR KITCHEN | BEFORE & AFTER

I'm going to have to start this post by saying that our kitchen is far from finished yet. Yet, it has had a transformation that is clearly to be seen by the eye, so that is the main reason I'm already posting about it. Also, the things we need are the new dishwasher (not that the one we have now wouldn't work, but because it doesn't fit in our kitchen colour scheme at all). And also, we need the cover between the floor and the kitchen cabins. So those two things are on our to-do list and I believe in few months we'll get this thing ready. Let's move on to the transformation!

POTATOES & CURRY SAUCE | MY CHILDHOOD FAVOURITE

& one of my biggest pregnancy cravings. I've been eating so many potatoes and curry sauce lately I've started wondering if I'm pregnant again. I'm not supposed to be but who knows. I'm not pregnant. I just love potatoes and curry sauce. And guess what? This is going to be by far the easiest (& the cheapest) recipe I have ever shared over on this blog. Guys, we're making history over here. Also, why am I writing when I'm super tired?

MY SPRING WISH LIST | HOME

It has been ages since I've done a proper wish list over here at the blog and I decided to give it a go in a 38°C degree fever. So, some of you might know how expensive my taste is (it's naturally that way) but if you're new here - just so you know.

10 THINGS I’VE LEARNED DURING 5 YEARS OF BLOGGING

HOLY SHIT FIVE YEARS. Yeah, my thoughts exactly.
Little Things With Jassy has been going and growing since 2013 but 2013 was such a shameful year with only 3 blog posts that had nothing to do with anything so I scratched it. This year it marks my five-year blogoversary and it's wonderful and really weird at the same time. I've managed to keep a hobby for that long! Let's talk about stuff I've learned blogging for five years.

THE AVOCADO PROJECT #1

HEY-OO, I've officially crossed the line where I'm a few minutes away from losing my shit because I took a seed from an actual avocado and I'm currently rooting it. Someone, send help - NOW. ASAP.
But on a more serious note, I'm on a hunt for a lovely plant to repair our lack of having anything green and alive in this apartment. We have that one tree looking plant from Ikea, and I'm pretty concerned it's not dead yet (as I'm pretty good at killing plants, you'll know if you've been following me on my social media / been my friend for years. I JUST CAN'T KEEP THEM ALIVE.)

HOW WE TAUGHT OUR SON TO SLEEP IN HIS OWN BED & HOW YOU CAN TOO?

I want to start this post by saying that I'm not a parenting expert, I don't have an education for this and all my info and all the things in this post are purely based on my experience with my own child. All kids are different & you need to try out different things and find the ones that will suit your kids best. If it works for us, it doesn't necessarily mean that it'll work for you - but you know, it's worth to try is it?

5 WAYS TO KEEP AN APARTMENT TIDY WHEN HAVING SMALL CHILDREN

What did I say? Keeping an apartment clean and tidy when having small children? Is that even possible? Well, it can be if you set your mind to it. I used to be a person who loved the mess around me more than anything. I wasn't bothered with small stuff around the cupboards or little things around the floor (like pizza boxes and all the other things that aren't toys.)
Oddly, the toys don't bother me at all but nowadays I'm losing my shit over breadcrumbs on the cupboard, my hair on the floor (what the fuck is this hair loss at the moment I'm going through?) and small pieces of food D carry around everywhere he goes.

OH DEER | SAMASKORU*

I got a chance to team up with a Finnish company called Samaskoru. All their products are made in Eastern-Finland in a city called Joensuu. I'm a fan of Finnish work & Finnish things, even though I feel like some of them might be a bit pricey but it's always nice to get together and promote some homeland made stuff you know. Let's put Finland on that world map, aye?

20 BLOG POST IDEAS FOR SPRING

I've been through this odd path in the past few months when I've had zero interest in anything whatsoever. It also includes this funny thing called the writer's block. I've lost my inspiration, my passion and my mojo and everything in between. So, what I decided to do was to write down some blog post ideas for the Spring. And what kind of a blogger would I be if I didn't share those ideas with anyone? So let's get onto it - 20 blog post ideas for Spring.

FEBRUARY VIA INSTAGRAM

February seemed to go by so super fast. It's funny what 28 days in a month can do, especially when January felt like it dragged so much. Today, I decided to do something different and go through February via Instagram pictures I posted. If you want to give a cheeky follow me on there, you'll find me by searching "jjjasuuu".

10 THINGS THAT ARE MAKING ME HAPPY AT THE MOMENT

I realised that I haven't done this type of post since the last 20th of May, 2016 so I decided it was about the time to get back on with this whole happiness thing. It's been a while since I've thought of all those little things that are making me happy at the moment - so let's roll on with it.

TO THE ALL THE WOMEN OUT THERE...

I wanted to write a letter, to all the women out there. Today we celebrate International Women's Day & this is how I thought was the most appropriate way to share the love on this very special day.
+ I also found some strong, amazing, beautiful & wonderful ladies to feature in this post! You should definitely check them out, I've linked them all under the pictures!

DEAR MEN, I'M NOT INTERESTED IN YOUR PENIS

Last Thursday, I woke up in the morning and noticed I had a request on my Twitter DM's like I do each morning. Yup, each morning there's always a new request. Either way last Thursday was the day I had enough. Also, if talking about penises, vaginas or anything sexual disturbs you in any way please stop reading now & move on to something more comfortable for you. Even though I'm okay with everything mentioned above, it doesn't mean everyone else is too - so a little heads up before I start my rant.

WHY PRINTED PICTURES MEAN SO MUCH TO ME? | PRINTIKI*

I believe all we can agree that it's way nicer to look printed pictures instead of a slideshow on some sort of a screen. I love everything that comes into the digitalisation of this world we're living in but there are things even I consider something not to be changed. Change is good in multiple ways but when it comes to pictures - I rather stay old fashioned.

BLOGGING GOALS | MARCH 2018

Well hello there, March! How did you turn up this soon? I mean seriously, how is it March already? I remember whining about how January seemed to drag and February, well February was just ridiculous. It went by in a blink of an eye. It's time for another month and some new blogging goals!
