YYTERI BEACH | PORI, FINLAND

I took my hubby for the very first time to my childhood favourite place. I've spent there countless of hours during my summers and I was super excited to head back after 5 years. The weather was amazing and everything was just perfect. Although, we didn't go swimming because the sea water was freezing!

If you're ever visiting in Finland, I hope you do go and check Yyteri beach. It's such a gorgeous place!

  9. I would love to visit Finland one day, especially Reykjavik. The fjords, and Norse folks/legend are something that I'm very curious about. I remember learning the language online through the University of Iceland many years ago because I was going to attend the university to study (also had a friend in Reykjavik back then).

    1. From here where I live, in Helsinki, Finland it's 3338 kilometers to Reykjavik, Iceland. Which is kind of funny, because Iceland is not that large island. It takes 99 hours by car and a boat and 3,5 hours by plane from me to get to Reykjavik. Also, there are countries like Sweden and Norway between Finland and Iceland. Oh, and Shetland Islands & Faroe Islands - how did I forget them? Anyways, it's impossible for you to visit Finland if you fly to Reykjavik, because that'll basically mean that you're in Iceland. I hope you'll find Finland one day :-) Fun fact: It's in the middle of Sweden and Russia. If you go South, you'll find Estonia and if you go North, you'll find Norway :-)
