LEINEPERI

Jenni and I tend to do these little photo shoots whenever I'm around at my hometown. Usually, because of her, I can allow myself to get on the other side of the camera - I've known her for almost 20 years so I can feel pretty comfy when she's taking pictures of me.
She brought me to this little village pretty close to our mum's (it was around 30-minute drive) and as I've known that it is there, I've never visited there.

Leineperi is located in Western-Finland, 20 kilometres from the coast. It's a small village, only 0,023 square feet and there were 261 people living there when last measured (2009). It's known for its iron works, although that's not something that they're still doing.

Everything was so pretty there, I can't believe I haven't visited there before. I'd definitely go again, just for a picnic or something - loved the village atmosphere.

  6. Lovely photos! Leineperi sounds like one of those perfect weekend getaways. Don't beet yourself up because you only discovered it now. You'll have plenty of time in the future to visit it, and the fact that it's near the coast makes it even more charming.
