CAULIFLOWER PIZZA

We've done this lovely cauliflower pizza for a couple of times already and it's so tasty and super simple to make. Even though it doesn't beat the original pizza but this is a great healthy way to have one if you've been having pizza too many nights in a row. And yeah, we might have a tiny issue with pizza eating this summer but holy potato, it's pizza for f's sake.

CAULIFLOWER PIZZA

Ingredients:

for the dough:
- 750g cauliflower
- 1,5 tablespoons olive oil
- 2dl shredded cheese
- 1 egg

on the top:
- 1dl tomato sauce
- 125g mozzarella
- 12 cherry tomatoes
- pesto
- season with salt and pepper

after cooking:
- fresh basil or arugula, we used arugula

How to roll with it?

1. Grate the cauliflower and cook the crumbs
on the frying pan in the olive oil as long as
they've gotten some colour in them.
Let the cauliflower cool down.
2. Mix cheese and shredded cheese in the
cauliflower mix.
3. Press the cauliflower mix on the baking
paper on the oven pan for tight round shape.
4. Pre-cook the dough in the oven in 225°C
degrees for 10 minutes.
5. Add the toppings on your pizza and place
it back in the oven for 15 minutes.
6. Add fresh basil or arugula and enjoy!

  6. Healthy and delicious! I've tried something similar once and it was great! I think it's really good to try and eat as healthy as possible most of the time. Of course I love my cheat days, but eating mostly plant based actually makes your energy level higher I found..
