MY HUSBAND’S FAVOURITE: MEATLOAF

I'm not a fan of a meatloaf, but my husband seems to enjoy it. At least the one I make, because well - I tend to make a bit different meatloaf than the meatloaf usually is.
As a basic meatloaf, I find the recipe boring so I've created this one trying out different meatloaves and this one is the one. At least if you ask my husband.

MEATLOAF

Ingredients:
- 350g ground meat
- 65g mozzarella
- 8 cherry tomatoes
- 1 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 egg
- tomato sauce
- basil
- salt, pepper & sweet pepper seasoning
- breadcrumbs

How to roll with it?

1. Mix ground meat, egg and breadcrumbs together,
like you would be doing meatballs.
2. Add diced mozzarella, tomatoes, onion,
garlic and basil to the ground meat mix.
3. Season with tomato sauce, salt, pepper and
sweet pepper seasoning.
4. Shape your meatloaf into an oven pan and cook
it in the oven for 40 minutes in 225°C degrees.

  5. I love me a good meatloaf. This looks super tasty. I often find that my recipes make for a really greasy meatloaf but yours looks proper lush so I'll give this a go.

  11. I've never made meatloaf, I wouldn't even know where to start but this sounds like something we'd enjoy especially the mozzarella and tomatoes, very Mediterranean which is food that we love!

  13. This looks delicious, I always assumed meat load was gross for some reason (I think because of the name) but I would definitely eat this! x

  16. I've never cooked a meatloaf but this sounds fab. I'm a vegetarian but feed my kids meat until they are old enough to decide for themselves. I obviously can't taste their food but look out for recipes that are family friendly that I can try.
