3 MONTHS | DINO

I can't believe that that little milk monster that is sleeping next to me at the moment is already 3 full months old. It's insane how fast time is flying by, it feels like yesterday when we got back home from the hospital. Okay, maybe not yesterday but a week or so.
This month, we've been playing with his elephant toy, which by the way, is his ultimate favourite so thanks to his dad's cousin and his family - the elephant is a hit. He's been talking to the elephant, getting frustrated when the elephant doesn't answer him back and he's been trying to grab the elephant. That's kind of cool because I was starting to wonder if he's not going to try to grab anything. That's funny though because that kid is doing a bunch of stuff he's supposed to do when he's older and not this age and I'm worrying if he's not going to grab anything.

Sleeping is going on well. He doesn't wake up twice per night anymore, he's waking up once. He's always been such a good sleeper and it makes me wonder when we get down the hill with that, but so far I'm enjoying waking up only once per night.

Feeding is going on well, with the baby formula and we had to change a brand. The one we used before, Tuuti, was making D puke so freaking much I got worried so I decided that we were going to change it to NAN. So far it has been working for us perfectly and he doesn't puke as crazy amounts as he did before. Obviously, Tuuti just wasn't good for him.

He's incredibly social. I mean, I don't remember how social my little brother was at Dino's age, but holy potato he's social. He's chatting all the time with his own baby language and if I don't answer right away he's starting to scream. He has laughed multiple times and sometimes he even gets so excited that he screams. It's kind of funny when he's laying on the floor on his little blanket with the elephant and he's screaming at the elephant and having a conversation with it.
He's also repeating things we do, like facial expressions and voices. When I say yea, in Finnish, to him he tries to say exactly like I do - so does this count as a first word? Nah, just kidding. His first word was "älä" which he yelled when he wasn't a fan of washing his butt. From the very first day. Okay, kidding again. But he does keep those sounds he just doesn't (probably) know what they mean, or how the hell would I know?

His motoric skills are insane. As I mentioned before, I was a bit worried about the grabbing part but at least he's trying and trying is what he's supposed to do at this age. When he was 9,5 week old he started rolling from his stomach to his back. He doesn't do it the other way around just yet (although I wish he did so we could put him to sleep on his own bed at night and on his stomach because he sleeps better on his stomach) but we're getting there. Sometimes it looks like he's just about to turn but then something else comes up. We're pretty close!

When he's laying on his stomach he keeps his head up such long amount of times and now he's taken his hands with the combo as well. Oh, and he gets frustrated when he knows how to move forward in theory but he doesn't know how. He's been trying to lift his tummy from the ground, though.

Oh my, they grow up so fast...
