CHRISTMAS HOME INSPIRATION | BLOGMAS DAY 7

As you might already be aware, I like to search for my inspiration from WeHeartIt. Now I'm going to share with you a few inspiration tips & how to get your home looking festive this Holiday season. I wish my budget wouldn't be against me this year because I've found some wonderful pieces & that's why I'm sharing these with you so at least you can have a few lovely festive pieces to your home.
All the collages are my own creations, but the pictures you'll be able to find here.

SPRIG FESTOONS AND LANTERNS

For me, lanterns are basically everything that turns my festive mood on. Different sizes, different shapes, different colors and oh boy, all those candles! Would love to have a staircase so I could make my own festoon from spruce. Yeah, a little tip here - making your own festoon is a whole lot cheaper than buying one. You can also decorate your festoon with some snow spray to make it look even more festive and oh, fairy lights! Yes, we need fairy lights.

CHRISTMAS STOCKINGS

I've always dreamt of a fireplace. A fireplace where to hang my Christmas stockings during the Holidays. Well, that dream might come true some day, but so far I need to settle hanging them on the wall. As I was searching for these stockings I've listed above, I absolutely fell in love with that gray one from John Lewis and those Canvas Christmas Stockings from Not On The High Street. They would look so pretty together and they also bring something different to these usual ones we're used to seeing everywhere.

CANDLES & CANDLE HOLDERS

For me, candles are an important part of Christmas. We'll be going to have to see if my opinion will differ next year because kids and candles aren't that good combination. Although, at the moment I'm in love with ball shaped candles and I'm pretty sure I'm going to head over to Stockmann and grab a few with me when my paycheck will arrive.

CHRISTMAS TABLE

Usually we've got so much food that there's not so much room for any decorations, but when you're having a cup of coffee or just doing nothing around your kitchen table - I think decorating the table for Christmas is just a necessity.

BAUBLES

I decided that I'm not going to invest in any new baubles this year, but now when I started looking for these for this post I fell in love with those Eightmood's baubles. Hmm, I think I might to get them to my Christmas bauble collection.

FESTIVE CUSHIONS

Cushions make everything look so cozy, so why wouldn't find a couple festive ones?

  1. I'm such a sucker for interior designing and one thing about interior design is knowing how important accent pieces are! All of these little accent pieces and accessories are so cute, I just want to buy all of them! The white Christmas look just looks so great in the house and a lot of things you can DIY yourself! Great compilation babe :)

  2. Wow that staircase is stunning! We did have a fireplace in our last home but not now so the stockings are just under the tree rather than hanging up, that's one of the best reasons to have a fireplace isn't it?

    1. It definitely is! Even though I don't think I would use a fireplace at all if we had one :D I'd sure as hell decorate it festive during the holidays though haha :D

  4. I'm usually in charge of setting the table during holiday get-togethers. The photo of the ottoman looks impressive. May try that as a centerpiece, only smaller.
