PEANUT THE PIGGIE

To this day, my post about "What to expect when you're NOT expecting?" is my most viewed blog post, ever. It was written on that day when your youngest guinea pig Peanut decided surprisingly join to our little family.
As you might remember, it was quite a shock and today I'm happy to let you know that our little baby isn't a baby anymore.

Peanut is 6 months old today. I can't watch that episode of HIMYM anymore again with out wondering if one of our guinea pigs is giving birth at the same time - even though it's not possible anymore because they're all females so they shouldn't breed. Right? Hah, just kidding. Not with that episode tho.

There's a picture when she was 1-day-old and she's grown so much in the past 6 months. She was so super tiny.
I'm very glad and proud of both of us that we've kept Peanut alive all this time. We had no clue how to take care of a newborn guinea pig, luckily we got the opportunity.
Peanut is now part of the pack and belongs to our family

    1. She says thank you :3 not actually, they need to have clean environment (cleaning 1-2 times a week), always fresh water and hay, they need their vitamin C everyday and you just have to hang out with them so they get used to your presence. Oh, and they must be set free at a times :D it's super fun to see 5 guinea pigs running wild in our living room

    1. All of our guinea pigs are females and suggested weight is max 1,5kg so they're quite small. I'd say that Peanut won't grow much anymore :D

  12. Awh, I love this post. It reminds me of when I was younger and we used to have around 40 guinea pigs (slightly irresponsible not having them neutered) but they they are the cutest when they are born. Perfect name, hope peanut enjoyed his day!
