REVIEW: L'ORÉAL PARIS INFALLIBLE 24-MATTE FOUNDATION

Okay people, I've finally sailed my way to the wider and brand new foundation seas. If you remember my last post from a while ago when I reviewed Makeup Revolution London The Matte Effect - foundation,  you can remember that I actually was not so satified with that product.
As a little recap, it didn't fill my needs of being a foundation in my face and cover all the awful small details.
My little sister recommended me this very affordable L'Oréal Paris Infallible 24-Matte foundation and I picked it up in the shade Vanilla.

Packaging in this foundation is this super simple and cute tube with good font so my old eyes can actually see what the bottle says. Okay, that last one was trying to be funny.
I've been using this for a few weeks now and I'm actually enjoying of using this. Compared to the old foundation I had, this one is a much thicker. I tend to mix this with face moisturiser so I can get it to be more bb-cream-a-like. I'm not used to this texture yet.
It's easy to spread and I'm using for spreading the Makeup Revolution London's "beauty blender", so it works out pretty well.
This is also hiding really well all the flaws and Chanel's under my eyes, so points from that. It also stays on really well and my face doesn't look like a dead rodent after a rough day at work.
I'm really satisfied.
This also is really affordable, ~18.50€, but it was on sale when I got it so it was a whole lot cheaper.

Have you ever tried this foundation?

Jasmin

  1. I always forget to check on L'oreal when I go to buy make up. They have famous products that everyone rave about! This foundation particularly attracted me with its modern packaging! I think I am going to give this Matte a try!

  3. This has got to be my favorite foundation and for some reason I am really pleased when other people like it as well :)
I've recently picked up Boots' Seventeen Stay Put foundation and that is a really good and affordable one as well, if you have a Boots around you. The formula is pretty thick and a bit weirder to blend, but once it's on it's a dream. I'd recommend reading a few reviews if you're still looking into good foundations :) x

I'm not so sure if there's boots around here, but I'll check the magical world of the internet and see if they're shipping here :D

  6. This shade looks like it might actually be light enough for my ski tone! I always have the hardest time finding a shade that is light and neutral toned. I find a lot of them are too cool for me. Ill have to check one out next!

  8. I was about to say that I've been having problems finding a good foundation since I have gotten older and you said "my old eyes." Then I saw you're 21! I'm 43. I, too, have to mix my make-up with face lotion to make it look right. Ah, aging...

    1. Hahah, by "old eyes" I meant that I've been struggling for a while to see things properly, so the font was great for seeing better what it says in the bottle :D

  9. I love your candid response about the other products that you used. I was a makeup artist for 10 years and I actually never tried any l'oreal foundation products or even blushes for that matter, so I would be interested in trying this product out with your recommendation. I love that the price point isn't too high in case it turns out that it's' not a product i'm obsessed with.
